An Associate Vice President for Autumn Communications serves as the senior liaison between the company and the account teams. Associate Vice Presidents are responsible for employment of client campaigns through the creation and execution of overall strategy, as well as new business development. The ideal candidate has strong new business connections, a proven ability to generate creative ideas, and the grit and agility to manage complex accounts across a variety of sectors.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Lead the execution of integrated and successful public relations campaigns/programs that exceed client goals.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communications; provide proper direction and counsel; and offer problem-solving solutions to clients.
  • Develop and grow senior client relationships.
  • Lead internal teams and drive their growth; provide proper feedback and guidance; motivate to be creative and achieve excellent results.
  • Monitor client documents to consistently evolve with changing goals, milestones and achievements, as well as making sure account teams are pitching appropriately and regularly. 
  • Develop overall communications media strategy for clients; manage profitability and financial aspects of accounts.
  • Generate new business opportunities and help secure new clients; research, and participate in new business presentations; develop RFPs that showcase the agency’s unique capabilities and proven results.
  • Utilize excellent contacts to secure heavy hitting media coverage across a wide range of consumer, business and trade publications.
  • Establish new media contacts to expand reach across print, online, TV, social, podcasts, etc.

Education / Experience:

  • High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree
  • 8 – 12 years of industry experience
