ACCOUNT COORDINATOR

An Account Coordinator for Autumn Communications is responsible for assisting team members with day-to-day duties for all client needs. Account Coordinators serve as the backbone of account teams, ensuring all clippings, call agendas, recaps, reports, etc. are delivered to clients in a timely manner. Superior time management skills, impeccable organization, and commitment to exceeding expectations are a winning recipe for success. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the account teams by proactively supporting and contributing toward client goals on multiple fast-moving, detailed campaigns simultaneously, under tight deadlines.

  • Conduct media research, pull targeted media lists, and maintain editorial calendars.

  • Handle daily media and social media sweeping in addition to maintaining and keeping up competitor audits. 

  • Share press clipping with clients in a timely manner.

  • Report for accounts, including weekly and monthly and sometimes quarterly.

  • Take thorough notes during client calls and circulate action items internally and externally.

  • Assist in the development of all necessary materials for client presentations.

  • Perform administrative duties such as ordering supplies, organizing meetings, scanning media + social media clips, maintaining files and records, coordinating deliveries/sendouts, etc., as needed.

Skills & Abilities: 

  • Excellent organization, written and verbal skills 

  • Strong interpersonal skills, telephone manner and professional presentation 

  • Creative and energetic personality

  • Sense of humor, positive attitude and hard work ethic

  • Experience with Muck Rack is a plus, but not required

Education / Experience: 

  • High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree 

  • 6 months – 1 year in PR is preferred, not required

  • Previous PR internships preferred
